Speciality classes begin the week of May 23rd
Links to the class registration will be emailed to Regular Members, then Associate Members, and once open to the public a link will be available on our website. Some classes fill up fast, so don’t delay in registering!
Class Description: Advanced training for those who have successfully completed the beginning and intermediate classes. These classes are for people who want to polish their dog's obedience and get ready for the show ring.
Requirements for Beg Novice Obedience: this class is for dogs who have mastered the basic obedience skills such as come, sit, down, stay, and walking on a loose leash. Your dog should be obedient and under control on a flat buckle collar, martingale collar, or choke chain. If you need other equipment to control your dog, this class is not for you (yet!). No prong collars, e collars, or head halters allowed. Your dog must also be able to chill in a crate while other dogs work. You will need to bring a crate to all classes. Dogs will be crated when not working.
Equipment for the first class: your dog, lots of tasty dog treats, a tug toy if your dog likes them, a crate, a chair, a buckle collar, and a six foot leash.
Prerequisite: CGC title or with instructor approval.
Class Length: 6 weeks
Class Size: Minimum of 4, maximum of 8 dogs
Day/Time: Wednesday, 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Class Dates: May 24 - June 28, 2023

No Aggressive Dogs Allowed, No Females in Heat.
