2024 Drop In Sessions
Drop in Sessions are organized practice for Club Members. There is supervision but no instruction included.
PLEASE REGISTER IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING, WE NEED
PARTICIPANT INFORMATION FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.
YOU MUST BE AN OCSDC CLUB MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE
Purpose & Class Requirements:
This is a practice session for basic obedience. Dogs attending drop-in must be able to heel, sit, down, come, stay, stand and finish. If you are having issues with a particular skill, this is a good place to ask for help.
Obedience skills are not taught in this class but it is a great place to practice and polish skills learned in the beginning or intermediate class and continue the socialization of your pet. If you are not sure if your dog has the proper skill level to participate in this class, please email the session coordinator for a quick assessment.
If you are planning on attending a drop in session, please contact Marilyn NO LATER than NOON on the day of the session. If there are not 5 people signed up the session will be cancelled. Save everyone, time, energy and disappointment email Marilyn

Cost: Members: Free Non-Member: Must Join Club - $40
Pre-requisites: Completion of the clubs Rally Novice Courses class.
Purpose & Class Requirements: The rally drop-in session is for members who have some experience in rally. If you are having issues with a particular skill, this is the place to ask for help, polish your skills and prepare you for rally competition. A leash must be used at all times.

Purpose & Class Requirements: This is an ongoing practice session for the conformation ring. Limited instruction is provided, participants are able to hone their conformation handling skills by gaiting, stacking, and having their dogs examined in a conformation ring.
Conformation Drop-in is a chance to practice and polish your skills as a handler in the show ring and help prepare you for competition. Treat every session as if it were a show.
THIS IS NOT THE "INTRO TO CONFORMATION" CLASS. IT IS DESIGNED FOR EXPERIENCED HANDLERS & DOGS.

Purpose & Class Requirements: Dogs must be able to alert on odor. This class will be set up by a trainer and has hides in the following Elements: Containers, Exteriors, Buried & Handler Discrimination, at the following levels: Novice, Advanced & Excellent. If you are having issues with a particular skill, this is the place to ask for help, polish your skills and prepare you for scent work competition.
