Member Classes - Scent Work

Prerequisite: Completion of the club's Intermediate class or CGC Title.    

Class Length: 6 weeks

Cost: $100 for non-members, $80 for members

Class Size: Minimum of 8, maximum of 10 dogs

All classes are held in the San Diego Zoo Parking Lot.

No prong collars, e collars, or head halters allowed. 

Class Description: The focus of this class will be to introduce you and your dog to the sport of Scent Work. We will build value on odor, introduce and build drive for hunting, and emphasize the importance of staying at source. We will work on the skills needed for container searches, exterior searches and buried hides. Other topics will include leash handling skills and getting ready to compete in Scent Work trials.
